- Dimensions: 60 cm x 90 cm

This painting is part of a series of nine acrylic paintings on canvas aiming to pay tribute to the Muses of Greek mythology who presided over different artistic fields. The artist had fun assigning them a background and different colors to each one, according to their particularities.
This one is dedicated to Polymnia (“the one of many hymns") who was the Muse of sacred poetry, sacred hymns and eloquence. She was also sometimes credited as being the Muse of geometry, grammar and meditation. Muse Polymnia was the protector of the divine hymns and mimic art. She is mentioned in Dante’s epic poem Divine Comedy (Paradiso, Canto XXIII, Line 56) and is commonly referenced in modern works of fiction*.
The set of nine paintings exudes both strength and an incredible variety of colors but which tend to form a single entity not lacking in harmony.
